Prime is a team of professionals with experience that ranges from groundbreaking industry research to helping individual companies improve their retail performance and profitability. In addition to our core team, Prime utilizes over a dozen independent specialists as needed for specific projects.
Doug Adams, President
Doug Adams is the President of Prime Consulting Group. He has over thirty years of sales, research and management consulting experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry. He held a variety of management positions at Frito-Lay and ACNielsen before founding Prime in 1996. The firm's focus is to make a measureable difference.

Prime has helped individual clients address critical strategy and execution issues through development and application of measurement tools, test protocols, applications of market insights and skill building. The firm has deep experience across many different industries including Consumer Packaged Goods, Retailing, Consumer Electronics, and various informative services. Prime has also supported due diligence needs for investment firms and fund managers.

Doug earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta.  He served on a School Board for seven years, three years as President and lives in a northern Chicago suburb.

 
Rich Tittermary, Senior Consultant
Rich joined Prime in 2007 after completing 25 years in various sales leadership positions at Frito-Lay. He has been the National Account Manager covering leading retailers including Kroger, Walgreens, CVS and Albertson’s for nearly 15 of his 25 years.

Rich has delivered double-digit annual growth for most of his career. In addition to leading national account teams, Rich was a Regional Sales Manager for six years with responsibility for nearly 100 route sales people and District Sales Managers.

In addition to Rich’s personal sales success, he has personally trained over 90 sales managers in all aspects of being a sales professional with key account or geographic responsibility. He received nearly 20 annual awards for sales leadership and achievement.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rider University in New Jersey. Rich and his wife reside in Cincinnati.


 
John Pryslak, Associate
Since joining Prime, John has worked on projects ranging from point-of-purchase advertising to supply chain efficiencies, distribution, and merchandising improvement. He brings strong analytical skills to his projects, which frequently include the development of special quantitative tools and models. Among other analytical tools, John has developed a tracking program that allows a manufacturer to track unsaleable products; a cost-to-serve model for a major consumer goods manufacturer; and a model to quantify the sales and profit performance of categories and fixtures at front-end merchandising locations for a retailer and a group of manufacturers. John has also managed several tests as part of the MilkPEP program and frequently helps clients work through the detailed implementation of critical aspects of process changes.

John received an M.A. in Telecommunications Studies from Penn State University and a B.A. in American Studies and English from Dickinson College in Pennsylvania.

 
Barb Wilhelm, Office Manager/Executive Assistant
Barb has over twenty-two years experience, the last thirteen as a member of the Prime team, as our Office Manager. She has strong technical skills and proficiency in data assembly, data analysis, project coordination, and in building presentations, spreadsheets and project reports. She provides support services for the Prime team and clients.

Barb graduated with Honors from Wm. Rainey Harper College as a Certified Legal Assistant. She has extensive experience in web applications.

 
Sharon Wilson, Senior Associate
Sharon Wilson is a highly energetic, passionate analyst, instructor and professional business coach who brings twenty years of sales and consulting experience to her Senior Associate role at Prime Consulting, Inc.  Her career has provided her the opportunity to work alongside, or as a consultant to, key national account teams and senior management for leading consumer packaged goods manufacturers.  Her experience has been drawn not only from her sales positions with Ortho Consumer Products and RustOleum Corporation, but as a result of working with a variety of sales and marketing teams through her consulting experience with Gladson Interactive and Prime Consulting, Inc. Primary business area focus includes development and implementation of custom sales training programs in fact-based selling and presentation, consumer research, space and category management, and industry-wide in-store marketing studies.

Sharon has a B.A. degree with Honors from Benedictine University.

 
Nina Fahey, Analyst

Nina has been with Prime Consulting since 2007 and is involved with channel tracking and analysis.   She was the project manager for the MilkPEP’s Flavored Milk Study (The Impact on Student Milk Consumption and Nutrient Intakes from Eliminating Flavored Milk in Schools) and also the Body by Milk channel tracking campaign.   Nina also provides qualitative and quantitative analysis support and conducts research across various industries that Prime serves.  Prior to her arrival at Prime, she was the Strategic Planning and Marketing Analyst at Lake Forest Hospital.  Nina holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree in Marketing from Loyola University of Chicago.
